Ingenieurstudie zu smg180

B1 modification

Um die Leistungsfähigkeit der capcooltech® unter genaue Prüfung zu stellen, wurde im Jahr 2016 eine interessante Studie unternommen. Der anerkannte SMG180 Elektromotor für automotive Anwendungen wurde auf capcooltech® umgebaut. Es wurden die Spulen des Elektromotors durch capcooltech® ausgetauscht und die Direktkühlung installiert, sonst gab es keine weitere Änderung oder Anpassung. Mit capcooltech® konnte das Drehmoment von 80 Nm auf 165 Nm erhöht und die Wicklungstemperatur im Motor gleichzeitig um 40°C gesenkt werden. Der Motor hat damit die doppelte Dauerleistung (80 kW) und mit nur 450 Watt Pumpenleistung konnten bei Volllast mehr als 5,5 kW Wärme abgeführt werden.

Es folgte ein Artikel in ATZ Elektronik (Blog) sowie die Veröffentlichung eines Videos zu unseren Messungen (Youtube). Darüber hinaus konnten wir durch diese Erfahrungen die Entwicklung unserer HC Produktreihe nach vorne treiben.

An interesting study was undertaken in 2016 to test the performance of capcooltech® in detail. The recognized SMG180 electric motor for automotive applications was converted to capcooltech®. The coils of the electric motor were replaced by capcooltech® and direct cooling was installed, otherwise there was no further modification or adaptation. With capcooltech® the torque could be increased from 80 Nm to 165 Nm and the winding temperature in the motor could be reduced by 40°C at the same time. The motor thus has twice the continuous output (80 kW) and with only 450 watts pump output, more than 5.5 kW of heat could be dissipated at full load. 

This was followed by an article in ATZ Elektronik (Blog) and the publication of a video about our measurements (Youtube). In addition, this experience allowed us to drive the development of our HC product line forward.
